Authentic Therapy for Highly Sensitive Souls
Welcome! I am so happy you’ve made it to my site. I look forward to meeting you soon.
I have been working in the counseling profession for over 23 years. The impact this work has made on my life is too vast to fit onto a single page, but through these decades of practice, I’ve come to a firm belief: Helpers are most effective when they use treatments that integrate both the mind and the body.
My Philosophy: Walking Beside You
I’ve found that my most significant "tool" as a counselor isn’t just a technique—it’s my ability to show up authentically. I work with my clients as equals. I will never claim to have all the right answers or all the right cures. Instead, I come from a place of deep understanding and shared humanity. By showing up as my true self, I hope to make your journey of healing feel a little less lonely and a lot more supported.
The HSP Perspective
I don’t just study high sensitivity; I live it. As a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP), I know what it’s like to experience the world at a higher volume. I understand the exhaustion of the "people-pleasing hangover" and the frustration of feeling invisible even when you’re speaking your truth. I use my professional expertise and my lived experience to help you turn your sensitivity from a source of overwhelm into your greatest compass.
Who I Serve
I provide a dedicated space for those navigating intense emotions and complex transitions, including:
-
High-Achieving Women: Processing childhood trauma and the pressure to be "perfect."
-
The Next Generation: Helping pre-teens and teen girls navigate the world as HSPs.
-
Medical Professionals & People in Recovery: Providing a sanctuary for those who give so much to others they’ve lost sight of themselves.
-
Chronic Health & Identity: Supporting women through the emotional journey of Alopecia and autoimmune disorders.
Clinical Supervision (in the process of applying for the latest requirements)
In addition to my clinical work, I provide supervision for LPCCs. I am passionate about helping the next generation of therapists develop their own "clinical gut" and show up authentically for their clients while maintaining their own well-being.
