Reiki

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that can also promote healing. Reiki is administered by "laying on hands" and techniques that have been practiced for thousands of years. It is based on the principle that the practitioner can channel energy into the receiver by means of touch, to activate the natural healing processes of the receiver's body and help restore physical and emotional well-being.

Yoga Nidra

In this practice you will be guided thru a personal experience of integrating mind and body. This is a practice that brings you to a state between sleep and dreaming and can assist in relieving tension while easing the mind and body. It returns you to the present moment. Thru yoga nidra, your body  learns what it feels like to practice being in the moment and expand your awareness with self.

As a supplement to talk therapy, the international practice of auricular acupuncture for behavioral health, including addictions, mental health, and disaster & emotional trauma, has proven to be effective for people on various paths of recovery and wellness.

Acupuncture uses "meridians" to stimulate "Qi" or "natural energy" to promote healing. The ear contains meridians for organs in the body thus it becomes an effective way to treat the "whole" body.

How it works:

5 acupuncture needles are placed in specific points on the outside of the ear. The receiver then sits quietly, breathing and meditating for about 35-40 minutes.

Possible Immediate Benefits:

-Relieve stress and promote a general feeling of well being and relaxation

-Improve sleep

-Decrease cravings for people with addictions

- Relieves depression, anxiety, body aches, and headaches
